سقوط جونا گڑھ

9 نومبر 1948 بھارت نے جونا گڑھ پر قبضہ کرلیا تھا اس وقت کے نواب آف جونا گڑھ نے اپنی پڑوسی ریاستوں مانگرول اور مانا ودر کے ساتھ مل کر پاکستان سے الحاق کا فیصلہ کیا تھا کیونکہ مانگرول اور مانا ودر کے نواب بھی پاکستان سے الحاق چاہتے تھے، اس سلسلے میں سرکاری طور پر گورنر جنرل آف پاکستان قائد اعظم محمد علی جناح کے نام خط تیار کرلیا گیا تھا، نواب کو وزیراع ظم کے دیوان شاہنواز بھٹو(ذوالفقار علی بھٹو کا والد) سے غداری کا خدشہ تھا، اس لیے انہوں نے دیوان کے بجائے اپنے ایلچی کے ذریعے الحاق کا خط قائد اعظم محمد علی جناح کو بھیجا لیکن اس سے پہلے سرشاہنواز بھٹو نے اس کے مندرجات لارڈ ماونٹ بیٹن کو ٹیلی گرام کردیے اور نیتجتاً ماونٹ بیٹن نے پولیس ایکشن کے ذریعے راتوں رات جونا گڑھ پر قبضہ کرلیا۔سرشاہنواز بھٹو کے اس اقدام پر اس وقت کے وزیراعظم شہید ملت خان لیاقت علی خان نے انہیں غدار قرار دے دیا تھا، جس پر خدابخش بھٹو نے ان سے لاتعلقی کا اعلان کردیا تھا کیونکہ انہیں خدشہ تھا کہ کہیں ان کی جائیدادیں نہ ضبط کرلی جائیں۔ اندازہ کریں کہ یہ سارے کا سارے خاندان ہی غدار ہے لیکن منافقین اور بکاومیڈیا ان کو لیڈر...

General Zia's warning to Rajeev Gandhi

The representative of India Today has included the comments of Rajeev Gandhi’s special advisor “Behramnam” in his article on Zia ul Haq visit to India. He quotes; “General Zia-ul-Haq arrived in Delhi for cricket match as a spectator without any invitation. At that time Rajeev Gandhi was not ready to meet him at the airport. Indian troops were waiting for the PM’s orders on the Rajasthan sector to  invade into Pakistani territory. In such situation it was improper to meet General Zia-ul-Haq. But opposition leaders and cabinet members were of the view that if arrived Pakistani leader has arrived in delhi without any invitation (from here he had to departure for Chennai for cricket match), it will against diplomatic values not to meet him and will cause misunderstanding about Indian leadership on the international level. President Zia-ul-Haq by Shamindra Ferdinando President Zia-ul-Haq was killed on August 17th, 1988 when a Pakistan Air Force C 130 crashed just five minutes after taking off. Among the dead were Gen. Akhtar Khan, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and US Ambassador to Islamabad, Arnold Raphel. In accordance with the Indo-Lanka Accord (ILA), the Indian Peace Keeping Force (IPKF) was deployed in the temporarily-merged North-Eastern Province, therefore the SLA was confined to barracks.
